You often hear
that someone is 'caught in a chain'. There is often a chain
in house buying and selling such as the first time buyer who
is starting the chain, the seller of that property is moving
to another property and so the chain continues until someone
ends it as they may be moving out of the country or have died,
or it is a second home and their move is therefore not dependant
on anyone else.

best to have a cash buyer who can purchase your property at
any time, or wait for you if you have problems and buy from
